It's always interesting to see where your Telecommunications Career will take you.
In the case of Paul Fletcher who started his Telco career with Optus and then at the time this picture was taken with me at the Communications Day conference, he was Minister for Communications, Cyber Saftey and the Arts.
What I learnt from my encounter and subsequent encounters with Minister Paul Fletcher, is his genuine passion for contributing back to the Telecommunications industry. When recruiting for great talent "real personal passion" is one quality that I feel makes for a great hire. Its quite often not sort after or requested in a client job briefs, but essential in my opinion.
